Casper Ware Jr. (born 1990 in Cerritos, California) is an American college basketball player with the Long Beach State 49ers men's basketball team who is entering his senior season. His parents are Casper Ware Sr. and Autheia Ware. As a junior, he averaged 17.2 points, 2.6 rebounds, 4.4 assists and 1.7 steals per game. He was named Big West Conference Men's Basketball Player of the Year after leading the 49ers to a Big West regular season title and National Invitation Tournament appearance. In addition, he was named to the First Team All-Big West and an AP Honorable Mention All-American.[1]
Prior to the start of his senior year, Ware received national recognition as one of 50 players on the Wooden Award preseason watch list.[2]
